Star lights so bright

Glistening beacons deep in the night

I gaze upon each of you all alone in the dark

Wondering what you will say to me 

In secret whispers what lies my fortune


Star lights so bright

My companions of the night

Lonely I feel not my companions in the dark

The black canvas of the night laced scattered with gleaming stars

My distant companions blazing in the dark


Star lights so bright 

Beaming at me in the night

As I ponder alone about life

The nocturnal wind blows cold

Cooling the earth for tomorrow

With silent whispers you speak to me
